As a Project Coordinator Lead at TOMRA, you will play a crucial role in delivering multiple short program projects with quick turn-around times.

The position reports to the Team Lead and requires working with all relevant stakeholders to ensure they are informed, engaged, and have appropriate expectations throughout the project.

You will work within a team of Project Managers and a Project Co-ordinator, taking sole responsibility for delivering specific sites/projects while collaborating to achieve overall requirements for the NSW PMO Team.

This is a fixed-term contract until December 2025.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Auditing sites to confirm buildability of leads/opportunities identified from the Sales Team
  • Compiling site packs post-audit to assist the Sales Team in securing the lead and utilizing them for site installation
  • Providing project management oversight for each site, from inception to delivery
  • Driving the wider project team, building effective relationships with technical professionals, project team members, and stakeholders
  • Engaging contractors for installation works, obtaining quotes, finalizing the Scope of Works, and managing the construction program during the build, including defect management
  • Providing timely and accurate information and status updates to key stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with planning pathways or meeting criteria where exempt, or otherwise obtaining planning and building approvals required
  • Participating in budget development and viability assessments
  • Reporting to external stakeholders, keeping them well-informed and reassured
  • Managing cost, schedule, resourcing, subcontractor deliverables, and technical performance of programs
  • Obtaining site induction information required from contractors with minimal impact on the program
  • Supervising and coordinating work performed by external contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-standard work
  • Adopting a pragmatic approach and high-level project management skills to manage multiple projects at different milestones
  • Identifying risks and issues, problem-solving to maintain project programmes and accelerate programmes when needed
  • Carrying out necessary administration, coordination, and process functions according to company guidelines and procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Building & Construction and/or Project Management
  • Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in a Project Management role
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience with internal and external stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience confidently managing various trades
  • Experience with or similar PM tool desirable
  • Experience with iAuditor/Safety Culture desirable
  • Experience with CAD or similar desirable

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
