We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our team at Talent International.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing mechanical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role involves developing work package scopes, customer requirements specifications, and tender documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Engineering and Work Package Delivery
    • Develop work package scopes, customer requirements specifications, and tender documentation.
    • Lead project engineering for assigned work packages, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
    • Oversee project engineering activities with a focus on safety, governance, and technical precision.
  • Safety and Environmental Leadership
    • Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, completing required safety audits.
    • Foster a safe workplace, ensuring all tasks align with our clients policies and regulatory standards.
  • Project Control, Procurement, and Contract Administration
    • Coordinate tendering, procurement, and contract administration for assigned packages.
    • Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule, supporting project control and cost management.
  • Construction, Commissioning, and Operational Readiness Support
    • Provide technical support to construction teams and manage the flow of design information.
    • Assist in commissioning, ensuring seamless transitions from project completion to operational readiness.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction or capital project management within heavy industry.
  • Strong experience in managing small to medium-sized project work packages.
  • Proficient in contract preparation, tendering, project planning, and risk management.
  • Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams, with effective communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and experience with project management tools.
  • Commitment to a zero-harm project outcome with strong knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
