About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the growth and development of EFCL into a sustainable, collaborative, mission-driven not-for-profit service. Reporting to the Board, through the Board Chair, your key responsibility will be to oversee the company's strategic direction and ensure its continued success.

You will build on the solid foundation established by EFCL, strengthening its capabilities and processes to support sound governance, management, and service delivery. A small, self-directed core team will report to you, working together to design, build, and operate this innovative service as it grows.

The role requires a strategic and operations-focused leader who can work effectively in a flat, flexible structure with a strong emphasis on operations. You will be responsible for delivering responsive, professional client services and driving quality, cost-effective outcomes. This position is a permanent, part-time appointment at 0.5 FTE, with flexibility regarding working hours and location. Travel may be required.

Key Requirements

  • Experience aligning strategy and operations with mission and values in a for-purpose setting
  • Alignment with the values of Catholic religious congregations and appreciation for their life, mission, and ethos
  • Senior leadership experience within a for-purpose organisation
  • Ability to set and deliver commercial targets to achieve financial sustainability
  • Relevant experience for financial management responsibilities
