Business Development Representative

At SugarCRM, we're on a mission to provide products and services that make the hard things easier for sales, marketing, and customer service teams. As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage lead development for APAC, working closely with the sales team to ensure leads are qualified correctly and progressing through the sales funnel.
- Research accounts to understand their needs, enabling effective follow-up and generating interest in SugarCRM.
- Detailed qualification of inbound marketing leads, using your expertise to accurately determine lead qualifications based on established criteria.
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections, building strong relationships with territory sales teams and management.
- Stay current on SugarCRM products and solutions, actively looking for opportunities to improve and optimize lead management.
- Record information and maintain detailed, accurate records in the CRM system.
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience with value-based selling, working against a quota.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, determined, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working with a high throughput of leads and data flow.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based on established criteria.
- Comfortable learning key software applications.
- Able to be in-office 2x per week.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $67,500 - $87,500 per year.
- Expected total target compensation range: salary plus commission based on ARR sales, depending on experience.
- Plus Superannuation.
