Job Title: Strategic Finance DirectorAbout the Role

This part-time opportunity with potential to evolve into a full-time role as the business grows, offers an exciting chance to join our high-growth journey. As a finance leader, you will partner with our CEO to evolve and grow our finance function, develop strategy, provide sound financial support, and drive our growth.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in senior financial managerial positions with a proven record of success, deep financial modeling and FP&A capability, sound decision-making skills, and results-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with our CEO to evolve & grow our finance function
  • Develop strategy, provide sound financial support, and insights to enable the executive team to rapidly scale the company and make critical business decisions
  • Identify and report key business drivers and metrics and play an instrumental role in driving our growth
  • Manage the delivery of our financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial plans, and statutory financial reporting
  • Presentation of financial results and insights to the Board, potential investors, and other key stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaise with the external tax firm for specialist advice
  • Manage and oversee the cash flow of the company and ensure it has the appropriate controls and transparency for the Board and executive
  • Manage and oversee the company's banking and borrowing arrangements
  • Partner with Investors
  • Advise and implement best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Managing and overseeing the company's financial systems
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Payroll, Financial, and Management Accounting functions
  • Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
  • Overseeing commercial decision-making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis, etc.
  • Legal and commercial negotiations for customer and supplier contracts
What We Offer

A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

We desire candidates with strong financial management skills, strategic thinking, planning, and creative problem-solving abilities. If you have experience in software as a service (either B2B or B2C) organization, that would be highly regarded.
