About the Role

Talent Web is seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Finance to join their dynamic leadership team at a high growth FMCG company. This role is pivotal in driving the financial health and sustainability of the organisation. The Head of Finance will partner closely with the CEO and play a key role in shaping financial strategies, overseeing financial operations, and championing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Financial Strategies: Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that align with organisational goals and support long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Oversee Financial Operations: Manage all finance functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, profit and loss, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure Compliance and Reporting: Guarantee timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with Australian accounting standards (AASB) and IFRS, and lead audit processes and tax compliance.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management strategies and ensure financial controls and regulatory compliance are in place.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial partners, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Develop and Lead the Team: Foster a culture of integrity and high performance within the finance team, promoting continuous improvement in processes and metrics.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification required. Over 10 years of senior financial management experience.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Industry Insight: Experience in the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
