Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our Global & Corporate business segment. This role will be responsible for service delivery for a key portfolio of clients and driving long-term growth ambitions in this segment.

About the Role
  • Mentor and develop colleagues within Aon
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships and enhance the client experience
  • Identify development opportunities for designated portfolio and design appropriate servicing solutions
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Global & Corporate business
  • Work with our Client Service Support, Broking, Claims, and the wider Aon Global network to deliver optimised outcomes for the client
  • Evaluate client and portfolio profitability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in servicing a portfolio of clients, preferably in the insurance market
  • Strong technical understanding of a broad range of insurance products and risk solutions
  • Experience in handling large claims
  • Excellent cross-selling abilities
  • A high level of understanding of client profitability
  • A keen entrepreneurial spirit and flair for business development
  • Exceptional and proactive client relationship management capabilities
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint products
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with exceptional communication abilities
  • A high degree of resilience and an outcome-focused approach
