About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Partnerships VIC. In this role, you will develop, drive, and execute the channel strategy across the Consumer Partners Financial Institutions, Mortgage Broker, and Automotive distributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the channel strategy to drive growth and outperformance of the strategic consumer partners plan for our Victorian business.
  • Lead the State's and National Account Management disciplines to achieve our Profit, Revenue, and People targets while proactively de-risking the business.
  • Collaborate with state-based counterparts to effectively communicate and implement the national strategy and sales/growth plans for each state, ensuring alignment and consistency for our national accounts and clients.
  • Provide professional services and standards to our partners to achieve and drive our growth targets, including executing the strategy across multiple channels.
  • Drive growth and retention of key and major accounts and work closely with the Sales Office to drive partner satisfaction.
  • Act as a strategic partner for the Sales Office, responsible for the local execution of the strategic national sales plan.
  • Champion Customer Obsession, taking a lead role in driving our VOC & NPS strategy.
  • Collaborate and work with internal and external teams to co-create customer-centric omni-channel experiences for our partners, and work with the Sales Office and Operations to develop plans with the Consumer COEs as required.
  • Monitor risk and provide regular reporting and highlighting any high-risk behaviour in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all distribution activities adhere to our internal policies and procedures, such as the Allianz Customer Protection Standards.
  • Promote Allianz's Board's risk appetite as well as key updates on risk and compliance initiatives via regular and proactive communication pieces, industry forums, and publications.
Requirements
  • Extensive General Insurance industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a complex portfolio of accounts.
  • Experience in developing high performing sales teams.
  • Good technical knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and all associated legislation.
  • Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge, and elicit beneficial outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Ability to proactively identify business risks and assess and reduce the likelihood and impact.
