Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Event Coordinator to join our dynamic events team at Centennial Homestead.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning multi-faceted events and weddings, conducting site inspections, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution. Led by our Venue Manager, you will be part of a culture that prioritizes client satisfaction, operational excellence, and revenue growth through upselling and value-added propositions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and plan events from conception to execution, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to drive business growth.
  • Manage event documentation, including timelines, budgets, and vendor contracts.
  • Collaborate with the Venue Manager to develop and implement event strategies that drive revenue and exceed client expectations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • Experience working with corporate clients, with some wedding experience preferred.
  • Proactivity and a desire to grow the role and the business.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • A strong focus on customer service and delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of market trends and competitors.
  • Event Management qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and familiarity with Priava CRM software.

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
