About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at the Karra Rehab Unit - Stroke & Reconditioning in TQEH. As a leader in nursing, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and services to patients.

The successful candidate will have experience in supervising less experienced staff, promoting continuity and consistency of care, and collaborating on implementing practice changes. You will also assist with various management responsibilities, including performance management, recruitment, rostering, staffing, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Mentor and develop less experienced staff to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager to lead and coordinate nursing staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and engagement

About You

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You should be knowledgeable about contemporary nursing practices, relevant legislation, and quality improvement systems.

Salary: $84,870 - $107,279 p.a. + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits
