As a skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services across various health settings.
Building on your experience and further study, you'll continue to grow from a competent to proficient practitioner while taking accountability for your own practice standards and activities delegated to others.
You will be instrumental in guiding and developing less experienced staff, contributing to their professional growth within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide essential support in leading and coordinating nursing staff.
- Promote continuity and consistency of care.
- Collaborate on implementing practice changes.
- Assist with management responsibilities including performance management, recruitment, rostering, staffing, and financial planning.
To thrive in this role, you will bring a range of qualifications, experience, and personal attributes that align with our commitment to high-quality care.
- Holds current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Has at least 3 years' post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Is knowledgeable in contemporary nursing/midwifery practices, relevant legislation, and quality improvement systems.

We deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.
