SA Health, Central Adelaide Local Health Network, is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team in mental health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of a highly skilled and motivated team.

About the Role

This dynamic role involves leading and managing our dedicated nursing team, working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional care across the unit. You will be responsible for assisting with staffing, rostering, and leave management, as well as supporting recruitment and performance management processes. Your leadership will help to create a positive and supportive work environment where nurses can thrive and patients receive the best possible care.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced mental health nurse with strong leadership qualities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams and facilitating change, as well as excellent clinical expertise and communication skills. A graduate diploma in mental health nursing (or equivalent) and at least three years post-registration experience in mental health nursing are also essential.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing excellent care to individuals with complex mental health needs while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. They will also be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of mental health nursing theories, policies, and legislation, with a focus on recovery-based approaches.
