About the RoleWe are currently seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at the TQEH Karra Rehab Unit, Stroke & Reconditioning. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and leadership to our patients and staff.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to lead and coordinate nursing staff, promote continuity and consistency of care, and contribute to performance management, recruitment, and financial planning.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
- At least 3 years' post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife or Clinical Nurse/Midwife;
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills;
- Knowledge of contemporary nursing/midwifery practices and relevant legislation.
