About the Role

As a Level 1 Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality ambulatory rehabilitation services across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), including the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical care to clients in their homes and community settings, focusing on therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based care that is centred on the client, working alongside other health professionals to support early supported discharge and hospital avoidance strategies.
  • Provide clinical care to clients with a range of conditions, such as stroke, amputation, orthopaedic conditions, and brain or spinal cord injuries.
  • Support the growth and development of novice to proficient practitioners through continuous development and experience.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will bring the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and eligibility for a practising certificate.
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
  • Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritising workload and supporting team goals.
  • Commitment to delivering innovative, flexible, and consumer-centred care in a healthcare setting.
