About Our Client

CoreStaff Darwin is seeking an experienced Administrative Professional to join our client's team in their Darwin office. Our client is one of the largest legal partnerships and a nationwide lawyers firm, offering exceptional quality legal advice to commercial and government clients across Australia.

About the Role

  • The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-level administrative support to partners within the Darwin Corporate and Commercial Practice Group, ensuring timely delivery of services to clients and meeting productivity targets.
  • This includes drafting and typing correspondence and documents, maintaining files, and performing various administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, binding, and collation of documents.
  • Ongoing administration support includes maintaining daily file reminders, calendars, and arranging internal and external meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administration support and meet reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Draft and type correspondence and documents, and maintain all files, including daily filing.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including photocopying, faxing, binding, and collation of documents.
  • Maintain daily file reminders and calendars, and arrange internal and external meetings as required.
  • Undertake billings and related accounts administration.
  • Assist with debtor collection activities as directed.
  • Conduct research, draft documents, attend meetings, and liaise with clients as required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate professionalism and provide high-end secretarial administration support.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, and well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional phone manner and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an office setting, with proficiency in using computers, phones, and managing email inboxes.
