About Our Client

Our client is the Northern Territory's largest multi-franchise dealerships in Darwin. With many years of experience selling and servicing new and used vehicles in the region, they are now seeking an experienced Administration Professional to join their team.

About the Role

The role presents an excellent opportunity to lead a solid Administration Department by joining experts in their field. As part of the dealership, this position plays a vital part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Accounting Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting duties, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal processing.
  • Reporting: End-of-Month (EOM) and End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) reporting are key aspects of this role.
  • Compliance and Auditing: The Administration Professional will be responsible for auditing, assessing, and ensuring all compliance documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Daily Banking and Cash Sales Processing: Daily banking and cash sale processing will also be a key responsibility.
  • Data Entry: Data entry input will be required to ensure accurate records.
  • Administration Support: Providing high-level administration support to all staff and management is essential.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Ability to Work Independently: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: A high degree of attention to detail is crucial for accuracy and compliance.
  • Deadlines and Time Management: Ability to work inside and meet strict deadlines.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an Administration role and bookkeeping duties is essential.
  • Software Skills: Experience in using accounting and office software, as well as database management, is necessary.
  • Australian Citizenship: Australian citizenship is required.
