About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales professional to provide first-line sales and ongoing account management for our clients in Australia & New Zealand. Reporting into the Commercial Director, APAC and dotted line to the Managing Director, Australia, you will take the lead on Australia & New Zealand sales initiatives, developing new business opportunities and nurturing long-standing relationships for repeat business while engaging in activities to promote our company and brand.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships, and sales activity to promote our services.
  • Identify new, valuable, and emerging companies and deploy your sales techniques to find and close business proposals to achieve or exceed your targets.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation and proposal development through to contract negotiation and deal closure, working closely with senior leaders in the business to build an in-depth understanding of our service offering.
  • Actively participate in major conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

About You

You are a result-driven sales and business development professional with an understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably with clinical or regulatory experience. You have significant experience and a track record in sales and proposal development, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Services industry.

You can work effectively in a dynamic global matrix environment while adapting your sales techniques to fit the local market. You are hungry for new opportunities, enjoy networking and problem-solving, and don't shy away from a challenge.

You possess well-honed communication skills and can adapt your style to the audience, feeling comfortable in both one-on-one meetings and presenting to a large audience.

You have a flexible approach to work (client and stakeholder calls may be outside standard business hours due to time zone differences) and the ability to travel occasionally to conferences and industry events.
