Sales Territory Manager

We are an award-winning shopper marketing agency with a strong presence in the AUNZ market. Our team specializes in managing field sales teams, sampling, and demonstrations, as well as experiential events.
We work closely with global brands across various industries, including FMCG, DIY, and consumer electronics.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Sales Territory Manager to join our team in Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading field operations within VIC, focusing on Bunnings & Independent retailers, while also managing a team of merchandisers.
Your key functions will include:
- Leading and managing a team of merchandisers servicing Bunnings and independent Hardware outlets
- Motivating and engaging your team through effective communication and regular feedback
- Staying up-to-date with the current major retailer environment
- Implementing customer plans through field operations
- Project management and attention to detail
- Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Ensuring territory call rates meet targets
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Retail/Sales/Territory Management experience, preferably in the DIY sector
- Evidence of managing projects, sales budgets, and strategic planning
- Experience in Territory/Store-based profitability management
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong people management and coaching abilities
- A solid understanding of KPIs and their impact on the business
- The ability to drive a positive culture and a one-team environment
- Self-motivation and strong communication skills
