Business Development Manager

Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager at Panasonic, you will be responsible for developing in-depth business-to-business relationships and securing sales for our Toughbook product category. This role requires a strong understanding of the product and the ability to identify potential new commercial clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and services to drive revenue growth within designated markets.
- Provide accurate and effective forecasting of demand for product, pricing, and services.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Toughbook products, solutions, and technologies.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure appropriate campaigns are developed to support required call rates and conversion to sales.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key decision makers.
- Expand Panasonic's presence in specific vertical markets.
Requirements
- A high level of self-motivation, organisation, and commercial acumen is essential.
- A proven track record in prospecting and winning new business in the information technology industry or selling a solution into the Transport, Logistics, or Government sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to network effectively with existing and potential clients.
- Be technically minded with the ability to present solutions to complex scenarios.
- An understanding of how to build a solid sales pipeline and create compelling value propositions.
- Demonstrate excellent numerical ability, able to understand and talk numbers, forecast sales/market trends, and listen to the needs of our customers.
- Work autonomously but also co-operatively in a dynamic, competitive market.
- A current and full driver's license and be willing to travel.
