Business Development Manager

At Panasonic, we're seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing in-depth business-to-business relationships and securing sales for our Toughbook product category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and services to drive revenue growth
  • Provide accurate forecasting of demand for product, pricing, and services
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Toughbook products, solutions, and technologies
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure effective campaigns support sales goals
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key decision-makers
  • Expand Panasonic's presence in specific vertical markets

Requirements:

  • High level of self-motivation, organisation, and commercial acumen
  • Proven track record in prospecting and winning new business in the information technology industry or selling solutions into the Transport, Logistics, or Government sectors
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to network effectively with existing and potential clients
  • Technical skills and ability to present solutions to complex scenarios
  • Understanding of how to build a solid sales pipeline and create compelling value propositions
  • Demonstrate excellent numerical ability and ability to understand and talk numbers, forecast sales/market trends
  • Work autonomously but also co-operatively in a dynamic, competitive market
  • A current and full driver's license and willingness to travel
