Senior Event Manager

Bloomberg is seeking a highly experienced Senior Event Manager to join our Marketing team in Sydney. As a key member of our Global Event Team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing events for our clients, prospects, influencers, and employees across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategic event programs
- Work closely with the business to develop and implement event programs that are targeted at our audiences and integrated with other marketing tactics
- Manage the creative process, including invites, event production, audio visual requirements, speaker management, show calling, overall logistics, and post-event administration
- Execute virtual events on the chosen platform and lead domestic and international projects with multiple stakeholders
- At least 6+ years of events experience in a corporate or agency setting
- Extensive experience planning and executing virtual and in-person events across APAC
- Experience in providing event program strategic mentorship, including target audience experience mapping, event portfolio analysis, and integration with other marketing tactics
- Technical savvy and ability to integrate digital and social media tactics into key event programs
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, regions, and with vendors
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
