Job Description

\

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Production Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for delivering high-end events and installations for clients across Australia.

\

You will work closely with our creative team to bring client visions to life through scoping, planning, drafting, visualizing, briefing, sampling, producing, and executing events and installations. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure that all productions meet Australian standards and minimize company risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Provide expert technical input to the creative team on build requirements, AV, and lighting.\
  • Estimate and cost projects into our internal system.\
  • Maintain production schedules for approved projects, ensuring they run within budget, timeline, and agreed milestones.\
  • Participate in meetings and communicate tasks and requests effectively.\
  • Manage production suppliers to deliver builds.\
  • Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams on project logistics.\
  • Collaborate with the production director on risk assessments and documents associated with products.\
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and quality within the production department.\

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • Previous experience as a senior production coordinator, production manager, or technical manager in the events industry.\
  • A creative approach to project management and excellent technical knowledge.\
  • Highly organized with excellent planning, financial, and administration skills.\
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate autonomously when required.\
  • Leadership qualities, including confidence in leading, motivating, and inspiring teams.\
  • A sound level of IT literacy and proficiency in software such as Vectorworks or CAD.\
  • A quick learner with a high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.\
  • A current driver's license and flexibility during the install and dismantle season (October to January).\
