About the Company:
We are a reputable events supplier in the industry, seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Our company excels in creating stunning installations and show-stopping events for various clients across Australia.
Position Details:
- This is a Full-Time Permanent Role, working 5 days in the office with occasional weekend work required for events.
- The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 per annum plus superannuation benefits.
Job Description:
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with high-end clients to bring creative visions to life through scoping, planning, drafting, visualizing, briefing, sampling, producing, and executing various projects. You will collaborate with the production and creative departments to deliver bespoke and major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical input to the Creative team on build requirements, AV, Lighting, and other Production areas.
- Estimate and cost projects into the internal system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain production quality control and adhere to Australian standards, minimizing Company risk and exposure by adopting best practices in manufacturing approaches.
- Ensure production projects run within budget, timelines, and agreed milestones.
- Participate in meetings and effectively communicate tasks and requests for information to find solutions.
- Manage Production suppliers to deliver builds efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse and Logistics teams regarding logistics around projects.
- Work closely with the Production Director on Risk Assessment documents associated with products.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and quality within the Production Department.
Candidate Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience as a Senior Production Coordinator, Production Manager, or Technical Manager within the events industry. As a creative problem-solver, you will bring a unique approach to project management, along with excellent technical knowledge.
- You must be highly organized, with strong planning, financial, and administration skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with operating independently when required, yet functioning as a team player, sharing information and accepting input.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including confidence in leading, motivating, and inspiring the crew and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- A sound level of IT literacy, with proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Possessing a current Driver's License, with flexibility during the install and dismantle season (October – January).
- Will be based in the office 5 days a week, with some occasional weekend work required.
