Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage staff to ensure that they are working together effectively to provide excellent service to our guests.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Service Delivery
    • Ensure that all food and beverage services are delivered to a high standard, including food quality, presentation, and timing.
    • Monitor and control the flow of service to ensure that guests are receiving their food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Inventory and Stock Control
    • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are accurate and that stock is being used efficiently.
    • Monitor and control stock levels to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure that all guest interactions are positive and that guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with all team members, including front-of-house and back-of-house staff, to ensure that everyone is working together to provide excellent service.
    • Communicate with guests to ensure that their needs are being met and that they are satisfied with their experience.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food and beverage operations are conducted in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
    • Monitor and control the quality of food and beverages to ensure that they meet Marriott's high standards.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members to ensure that they are meeting Marriott's high standards.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications
    • Degree in Hospitality or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications, such as Food Safety Certification.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a food and beverage supervisory role.
    • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team to achieve high standards.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
