About this Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced waitstaff to join our team. As a front-of-house professional, you will be working in various settings, including cocktail parties, sit-down dinners, boardroom meetings, festivals, and superyacht events. You will have the opportunity to work in multiple locations around Sydney, collaborating with recognized suppliers in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional service: Ensure timely delivery of orders, verify correct items are served, and provide attentive and professional service to guests.
  2. Prepare and maintain service areas: Set tables with cutlery, glassware, and condiments, and clear tables promptly after service.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe environment: Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the area, including table surfaces, chairs, and floors, to create a pleasant and sanitary environment for guests.
  4. Address guest needs and concerns: Ensure guests' needs are met promptly and courteously, and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and proactive manner.
  5. Collaborate with the team: Work with other food and beverage attendants and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  6. Support special events: Provide food and beverage service as required for special events, banquets, or functions.
  7. Comply with regulations: Adhere to food safety standards, responsible service of alcohol guidelines, and any other health and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
Requirements
  1. Current RSA competency card: Possess a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) competency card.
  2. Previous waitstaff experience: Have previous waitstaff experience in venues and private homes, which is an advantage.
  3. Great attitude and punctuality: Demonstrate a great attitude and punctuality, which are essential for this role.
  4. Physical ability: Be able to carry 3 plates and clear 5.
  5. Strong verbal communication skills: Possess strong verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently: Be able to work independently while offering 5-star service standards.
  7. Grooming and presentation: Maintain immaculate and smart presentation from head to toes.
