About This Role

We're seeking a talented Associate Director, Markets, Private Bank and Wealth Sales to join our team in Melbourne.

As an Associate Director in our Team, you'll play a key role in driving growth in the Private Bank Markets business in Australia. Your responsibilities will include supporting and growing the markets needs of ANZ's Private Bank customers while also looking to grow market share and develop new business and product opportunities.

The role will support the overall Financial Institutions, Markets sales team to achieve its strategic priorities, including growth initiatives. You'll be responsible for achieving business targets for Private Bank Markets sales across products including Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Money Markets and Commodities.

Key responsibilities will include identifying growth opportunities and new growth streams, helping our ANZ Private Bankers support their clients in managing their financial markets risks, sourcing new business opportunities and developing new product capabilities.

You'll need to actively utilise and promote data to analyse Private Bank client segments to identify exposures and offer solutions. Additionally, you'll identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve the customer and employee experience.

Furthermore, you'll ensure limit management and compliance with all internal and external requirements, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders, including other product areas and relationship managers.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need to bring the following skills and qualifications:

  • Knowledge and sales experience across Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Risk Management Financial Markets products is essential; product knowledge across money market and Fixed Income is desirable
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, understand and respond to client needs through active use of data
  • Adapts future approach on the basis of previous experience, mistakes and developmental feedback
  • Proven ability to identify customer opportunities, build relationships and provide effective solutions

This role offers a competitive salary package with an estimated annual salary of $150,000-$200,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
