About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Southern region of Melbourne.

As a Speech Pathologist at Yooralla, you will have the opportunity to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to adults with a disability, helping them to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

Your working days may involve delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings or in the community, aimed at supporting clients to achieve their goals. You will work part of an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists, providing indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.

You'll be an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, good interpersonal skills, and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them and build their capability.

To be successful in this role, you'll share Yooralla's values and have experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model, the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families, a willingness to improve on your clinical practice, care for the work you do and for the people you work with, competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems, good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and an Australian driver's license and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel Southern region of Melbourne as required.
