About the Role
">- This is an opportunity to work as a part-time or full-time adult Speech Pathologist in Yooralla's Southern region of Melbourne, providing best practice speech pathology services to adults with disabilities.
- As a passionate and positive relationship builder, you will work collaboratively within a transdisciplinary team model, supporting clients to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
- You will be delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community, focused on promoting overall health and wellbeing.
Your Key Responsibilities
">- Delivering evidence-based speech pathology services to adults with disabilities across the scope of practice.
- Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
- Providing indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.
About You
">- Established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage people with disabilities, motivate them, and build their capability.
- Ability to work in partnership with adults with disabilities to set and achieve goals, and to work collaboratively with the person's supports, including their families.
