About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Clinician Speech Pathologist to lead our team in delivering high-quality speech pathology services to people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing best practice, evidence-informed speech pathology services to support people with disabilities to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
  • Leading a portfolio of specialist clinical practice and providing strong practice leadership across the organisation.
  • Contributing to research and development, policy and practice frameworks, and supporting clinical risk management as required.
  • Recruiting and planning staff education and training in areas of specialist clinical knowledge, practice supervision and effectiveness.
About You

We are looking for an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in speech pathology, who has:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage people with disabilities and their support teams to build their capability.
  • Expert ability to work in partnership with referring therapists, collaborate with clients, their families, and primary therapists.
  • Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
  • A willingness to continuously improve on your clinical and technical knowledge.
  • Care for the work you do and for the people you work with.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current driver's licence to drive in Australia (travel is an expectation of the position).
  • International Police Check (if required), Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.
