Job Description

Reporting to the Executive, People and Culture, the WHS Manager will provide expert advice to the WHS Team, management team, and executive team on WHS and Workers Compensation matters. Key outcomes include:

  • Leading the daily operations of the WHS Management System
  • Ingraining continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and processes to effectively reduce injury and illness
  • Day-to-day management of the WHS Team to deliver on strategic and operational outcomes
  • Analysing data and trends to identify foreseeable hazards and putting in place activities to minimise risk
  • Overseeing Workers Compensation claims management

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in WHS and Injury Management
  • Relevant qualification in Work, Health & Safety Management or similar field
  • Experience in managing WHS hazards in Disability, Human Services, or similar sectors
  • National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and NSW Driver's License
