**Safety People is seeking a dedicated WHS Consultant to join our team**
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Work Health & Safety (WHS) Consultant to work with us in a Non-for-Profit organisation, where your impact will extend beyond compliance—helping protect and support diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support leaders and workers across various divisions in managing WHS risks.
- Provide WHS guidance, deliver training, and ensure compliance with WHS regulations.
- Assist with WHS projects and contribute to the national WHS strategy.
- Participate in incident investigations and facilitate risk assessments.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Diploma in Work Health & Safety (WHS) or equivalent (mandatory).
- Degree in WHS, Human Resources, or related field (desirable).
- Proven understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk management principles.
- Experience in conducting audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders across various teams and external bodies.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
