Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. As an employee of ADRA Australia, you can enjoy hybrid office and remote working arrangements, NFP salary packaging options, plus meals and entertainment benefits.

Job Description

This exciting role involves:

  • Managing the CEO's schedule and meetings to ensure smooth coordination and prioritization of daily activities.
  • Handling internal and external communications, including confidential correspondence and responding on behalf of the executive office.
  • Preparing and managing confidential meetings, taking detailed minutes, and ensuring all follow-up actions are completed.
  • Oversight of Work Health & Safety (WHS) protocols, ensuring compliance and addressing workplace safety concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A related diploma/degree and at least five years' experience in high-level secretarial or executive work.
  • Organisational skills: ability to manage the CEO's schedule, coordinate meetings, and handle travel arrangements efficiently.
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication for developing meeting minutes, and liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: high level of discretion and integrity, with experience in handling sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Time management: proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Work Health & Safety: understanding of local and national WHS laws and regulations, ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures, experience in organizing WHS training sessions and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Handling general complaints: strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: meticulous in managing details and ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proactive attitude: ability to anticipate the CEO's needs and act proactively.
  • Adaptability: flexibility to handle a dynamic work environment and changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Office Software: advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
