About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated WHS Advisor to join our established WHS department at Ivory Group. This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of moving to a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development, implementation and delivery of the WHS management system and strategic plan. You will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across Council offices, including supervisors, managers and the WHS Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare general WHS reporting and statistics
  • Develop and improve WHS plans and strategies
  • Investigate relevant incidents and claims
  • Conduct safety training for Council managers and supervisors

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a WHS-centric role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Local Council experience preferred, but not essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications beneficial
