The scope of the role includes:

  • General administrative duties, specifically data entry
  • Mail sorting and distribution
  • Mail and courier pickups and deliveries to various points in multiple sites
  • Preparation of mailbags for internal and interstate offices
  • Courier bookings and lodgements with various courier companies
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Responding to incoming calls in the mailroom promptly and professionally
  • Maintaining office equipment, office supplies, and stationery
  • Light cleaning duties
  • Assisting with filing and maintenance document files
  • Data entry and general administrative duties
  • Some heavy lifting may be involved
About You

To be successful in this role, you should display a positive attitude and be a highly reliable individual. You should have a keen eye for details and always work with accuracy, with a good level of computer literacy. You have the desire to deliver and exceed our client expectations.

You must have obtained an Australian Citizenship at the time of submitting your application. A previous mailroom experience and familiarity with working in an office environment are also essential. Computer literacy, particularly with using Microsoft Word and Excel, is necessary. A high level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills are also required. Additionally, you must be able to work autonomously and under pressure to achieve stringent service standards.
