Overview

Samsung is seeking a highly skilled State Sales Manager to lead our Consumer Electronics division in State Sales Management & Relationship Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering strong retail management principles and operational excellence to drive business goals and sell-out targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Sales Management: Responsible for the delivery of CE sales targets and key Retail Management KPIs for their State.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships within the State with key contacts, including State Leads, Steering Committee, and influential Store Managers.
  • Category Management: Understand opportunities within each store and retail precinct to drive business and create proposed plans to the business for approval.
  • Team Management: Oversee team journey plans to drive efficiency and accountability in each State, and regularly visit stores with Area Managers and field staff to develop and mentor them through the 'Perfect Call' sales process.

Requirements

  • Education: Tertiary education, including a college diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience leading a field sales team in a State Manager/Area Manager role, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
  • Skillset: High-level business acumen, strong communication, presentation, listening, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with Retail store proprietors and Sales teams.
