Role Overview
Samsung Australia is seeking a highly skilled State Sales Manager to lead our Consumer Electronics division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY CONTACTS, INCLUDING STATE LEADS, STEERING COMMITTEE, AND INFLUENTIAL STORE MANAGERS
- CONDUCT MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH KEY HARVEY NORMAN FRANCHISEE'S TO DRIVE SELL-OUT FOR THE STORE AND STATE
- DEVELOP AND MANAGE STORE CALL CYCLES, ZONES, AND PRECINCTS STRUCTURE FOR THE STATE IN LINE WITH BROADER NATIONAL STRATEGY
- POINT OF ESCALATION FOR ALL FIELD-RELATED MATTERS, BOTH INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY
- OVERSEE TEAM JOURNEY PLANS TO DRIVE EFFICIENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN EACH STATE
- REGULAR STORE VISITS WITH AREA MANAGERS AND FIELD STAFF TO DEVELOP AND MENTOR THEM THROUGH THE 'PERFECT CALL' SALES PROCESS
Requirements
- TERTIARY EDUCATION INCLUDING COLLEGE DIPLOMA (BACHELOR DEGREE PREFERRED) IN BUSINESS, MARKETING, OR COMMUNICATIONS
- 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE LEADING A FIELD SALES TEAM IN A STATE MANAGER/AREA MANAGER ROLE, WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE CONSUMER ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY HIGHLY REGARDED
- COMPETENT LEADER OF SMALL TO LARGE FIELD TEAMS - ABILITY TO COACH, MENTOR, AND EFFICIENTLY DELEGATE
- ABILITY TO LIAISE WITH RETAIL STORE PROPRIETORS AND SALES TEAMS (BOTH SAMSUNG AND RETAILER) TO GAIN BUY-IN AND PERMISSION TO EXECUTE IN-STORE PROGRAMS AS PER THE SAMSUNG BRIEF
