About the Role

The Administrative Officer will play a crucial role in the success of the Cancer Research Program at Monash University. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the program, including managing resources, coordinating finances, and preparing essential project documentation and updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Provide financial support, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
  • Coordinate events, including conferences, meetings, and workshops
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and industry partners

Requirements

  • Strong administrative experience, preferably in a research or academic setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
