Executive Culinary Leader for Luxury Dining Precinct

Sydney's iconic first international 5-star hotel, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, is partnering with House Made Hospitality to set new standards in the Australian hospitality scene. As a talented Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in crafting a unique experience where luxury reaches new heights.
We are seeking an exceptional culinary leader to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative menus that showcase our commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Sous Chef and hold relevant trade certifications, such as Food Handler Certificate and Trade Certification Level 3.
The ideal candidate will possess strong kitchen managerial skills, operational leadership, and team building abilities. They will be driven by customer satisfaction and alignment with Sofitel and House Made Hospitality values. In addition, they will have creative flair, knowledge of current food trends, and a drive for continuous learning and growth.
In this exciting opportunity, you will work closely with our Executive Chef and Head Chef to oversee food preparation, production, and implementation of menus that meet Brand Standard guidelines. You will also assist in developing new menus and concepts, managing daily food service and on-site kitchen operations, and coordinating the stewarding team to meet kitchen requirements.
We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including discounted city parking, complimentary dry cleaning, progressive leave policies, and unlimited development opportunities.
