Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to contribute to the success of our kitchen operations. As a key member of our culinary team, you will work closely with our Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Restaurant Manager to ensure seamless execution of our menu and high-quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Menu planning and development in collaboration with our culinary leadership team
  • Preparation and cooking of high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes
  • Presentation and garnishing of dishes to meet our high standards
  • Service preparation, including garnishes, ingredients, sauces, and sides

  • Contributing to the development of a positive and collaborative kitchen culture
  • Adhering to Australian food safety health standards and codes of practice
  • Following WHS regulations and implementing safe work practices

About You:

  • A genuine passion for cooking and creativity
  • Trade qualifications (Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to lead a team and promote a positive work environment
