About the Role
Square is seeking a highly skilled Partnerships Manager to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will represent Square's brand and help develop and deploy our Australian strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new partnership opportunities, negotiate contracts, and execute Go-To-Market plans. You will build and grow deep relationships with external partners, including large strategic opportunities with major organizations, independent software and service providers, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, sign, and manage partners end-to-end to drive Square's growth in Australia
- Develop and execute strategic partnerships to drive business growth and customer acquisition
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize partnerships opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, and customer success teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships development, product management, or a related field
- Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships, with a focus on driving business growth and customer acquisition
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate opportunities and develop strategic plans
