About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Officer to join our team at EBR in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with directors and other team leaders to meet all recruitment needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining employee files and records, recruiting for various roles, and providing administrative support across HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Lead the recruitment process for IT development and general operations roles
  • Maintain HR systems and folders, ensuring data is accurately entered and processed
  • Provide HR administrative support to various teams, including conducting regular performance reviews
  • Coordinate on-boarding, internal changes, and off-boarding processes
  • Resolve personnel issues and provide solutions
  • Manage training, performance development, and employee relations
  • Oversee internal and external activities

Selection Criteria:

  • At least 3 years' experience in HR or a related administrative role, preferably in an information technology firm
  • Strong organizational skills, close attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working with stakeholders and internal/external recruiters
  • Good working knowledge of software packages such as MS Office, Xero, and MYOB
  • Ability to work independently and as an eager team member
