A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum is on offer for this exciting role as a Financial Hardship Specialist with Randstad.

About the Role

This prestigious non-bank lender has been empowering homeowners and businesses across Australia and New Zealand for over two decades. As a Financial Hardship Specialist, you will be instrumental in delivering bespoke lending solutions to consumers and SMEs while upholding the company's commitment to respectful communications and quality commitment.

Your key focus will be on responding to client requests for financial assistance, assessing applications, and offering tailored financial solutions that meet their unique circumstances.

Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Receive, review, and assess applications for financial hardship assistance, including supporting documentation.
  • Financial Solutions: Assess and understand clients' situations, offering repayment plans or pauses that suit their needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Action financial hardship assistance applications within regulatory guidelines, policy, and procedure.
  • Communication: Respond to client inquiries and confirm financial hardship assistance solutions in writing.
  • Loss Mitigation: Recognise and implement loss mitigation strategies and work out resolutions where appropriate.
  • Collaboration: Direct liaison with borrowers, panel solicitors, valuers, mortgage insurers, and Originators/Introducers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in financial hardship assistance (Mortgage or Asset Finance experience is desirable)
  • Arrears Target Achievement: Demonstrated ability to meet set arrears targets
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hardship Process Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the hardship application process
  • Tech Savviness: Tech-savvy with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
