Job Summary

The Deputy Director of Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) will provide strategic leadership and support to the Director of CLCM in managing program and project execution, including performance, quality, budgets, and schedule.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities to transform and improve operational frameworks and procedures within the CLCM Program.
  • Establish effective communication channels with clients and key internal stakeholders through proactive client engagement.
  • Manage overall CLCM performance to ensure successful delivery and enhance the KBR brand.
  • Foster a positive work environment that is professional, dynamic, and innovative.
  • Ensure HSE leadership and develop action plans to manage safety and business risks.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, KBR, and other stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Collaborate with relevant CoA and KBR stakeholders to develop Contract Change Proposals and CLCM-specific documents.
  • Work with People and Culture to develop KBR personnel, improve culture, and employee retention and engagement.
  • Support workforce planning to ensure maximum opportunity for term extensions or redeployment of staff if necessary.
  • Facilitate continuous business improvements and make decisions that look beyond the current position.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Project Management or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and communications management.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with key senior stakeholders both internally and externally in a Defence/Defence Industry environment.
  • General business skills including development and delivery of financial reports, business cases, contract management, and business performance reports.
  • Results-orientated with project management or professional consulting experience.
