Job Description

About the Role:

The Deputy Director of Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) will provide support to the Director of CLCM in managing all aspects of program and project execution, including performance, quality, budgets, and schedules.

This leadership role will involve acting with a high degree of autonomy and personal accountability for all CLCM outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and drive opportunities to transform and improve operational frameworks and procedures within the CLCM program.
  • Establish effective communication channels with clients and key internal stakeholders through proactive engagement.
  • Manage overall CLCM performance to ensure successful delivery that enhances the KBR brand's perception.
  • Foster a positive work environment that is professional, dynamic, and innovative.
  • Lead HSE initiatives with proactive safety and business risk management and development of appropriate action plans in close coordination with HSE.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, KBR, and other key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to develop Contract Change Proposals (CCPs) and CLCM-specific documents.
  • Collaborate with People and Culture to develop KBR personnel, improve KBR culture, and enhance employee retention and engagement.
  • Support workforce planning to ensure maximum opportunity for term extensions or redeployment of staff if necessary.
  • Promote continuous business improvements and make decisions that consider long-term positions.
  • Assist with bids and proposals as required.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Project Management or a relevant field, and/or equivalent professional/industry experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and communications management.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally in a Defence/Defence Industry environment.
  • General business skills, including financial reporting, contract management, and business performance reports.
