About the Role:

The Deputy Director of Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of CLCM in managing all aspects of Program and Project execution, including performance, quality, budgets, and schedule. This leadership position requires a high degree of autonomy and personal accountability for all CLCM outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IDentify and drive opportunities to transform and improve operational framework, and procedures in the CLCM Program
  • Pro-actively engage with clients and establish effective communication channels at all levels within client and key internal stakeholders
  • Ensure overall CLCM performance, ensuring successful delivery that enhances the perception of the KBR brand
  • Foster a positive work environment that is professional, dynamic and innovative
  • Lead HSE initiatives with proactive management of safety and business risks, and development and implementation of appropriate action plans in close coordination with HSE;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, KBR and other key stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with relevant CoA and KBR stakeholders to ensure appropriate development of Contract Change Proposals (CCPs) and CLCM specific documents
  • Support workforce planning to ensure maximum opportunity to term extensions or redeployment of staff if necessary;
  • Facilitate continuous business improvements and make decisions that look beyond the current position

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / Project Management or other relevant field and/or equivalent professional / industry experience
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, client relationship management and communications management
  • Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with key senior stakeholders both internally and externally in a Defence/Defence Industry environment
  • General business skills including development and delivery of financial reports, business cases, contract management and business performance reports
  • Results orientated with project management or professional consulting experience
