Job Description:

The Senior Defence Management Professional will provide strategic leadership and management support to the Director of Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) in delivering Defence Maritime Capability solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To identify and drive opportunities to transform and improve operational frameworks, procedures, and performance metrics within the CLCM Program
  • Pro-actively engage with clients and establish effective communication channels at all levels, fostering strong relationships and trust
  • Manage overall CLCM performance, ensuring successful delivery that enhances the perception of the KBR brand
  • Foster a positive work environment that is professional, dynamic, and innovative, promoting employee retention and engagement
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) leadership, proactive management of safety risks, and development of appropriate action plans
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with customers, KBR stakeholders, and other key stakeholders to foster strong and trusted relationships
  • Work collaboratively with relevant Contracting Authority (CoA) and KBR stakeholders to ensure appropriate development of Contract Change Proposals (CCPs) and CLCM-specific documents
  • Support bids and proposals as required, driving business growth and expansion

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Project Management or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and communications management, with a proven track record of success
  • General business skills, including financial reporting, contract management, and business performance analysis
