About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT Services Branch of the Department of Education as an IT Support Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will provide service delivery, training, and technical expertise for corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide service call management, using the ITIL framework within DE service management tools.
  • Manage IT assets and local stockroom, including forecasting stock requirements.
  • Deliver user training on end user devices and functionality.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve specific or systemic issues impacting end user devices.
  • Contribute to maintaining knowledge articles, policies, processes, and auditing for end user devices.
Requirements
  • Contemporary knowledge of end user device technologies and their application within a business context.
  • Strong technical skills in Windows, Office 365, Webex, Service Now, and in Tune-MDM.
  • Good experience in maintaining and delivering user training on end user devices and functionality.
