Milestone IT is currently working with a leading organization in the Information and Communication Technology sector, seeking an experienced IT ServiceDesk Engineer to join their Help Desk and IT Support team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing Level 1 support to users, working closely with a small team of IT specialists to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to users via phone and other communication channels
  • Logging and managing tickets in a ticketing system
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction
  • Performing hands-on hardware and software support, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with the team to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of ticketing systems and IT service management
  • Experience with Windows 10 operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and network infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and reactive troubleshooting skills
