Your New Role


We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud operations team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based services.
  • Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop and implement automated infrastructure provisioning and management scripts using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities to resolve issues affecting cloud services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing trends and technologies, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals (nodes, pods, services, deployments, Helm, etc.) and experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, JIB) and experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of IT service management concepts and experience with their application in an enterprise work environment supporting both cloud and hybrid on-premises infrastructure configurations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working in a cloud operations environment, preferably with AWS or Azure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
