Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Ambassador to join our team at Hyatt Regency Sydney, located in the heart of Sydney's Central Business District (CBD). This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding experience for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service.

The Role

As a Front Desk Ambassador, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience at Hyatt Regency Sydney. Your responsibilities will include supervising the porte-cochère, directing traffic, and maintaining the cleanliness of the area. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading guest luggage, arranging taxi pickups, and providing exceptional guest service through warm and professional interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of traffic into the driveway and ensure smooth and safe entry and exit of vehicles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the porte-cochère and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with loading and unloading guest luggage from cars.
  • Arrange and coordinate taxi pickups for departing guests.
  • Provide exceptional guest service through warm and professional interactions, including greeting and farewelling all guests and visitors.

Requirements

  • Experience in a high-end service environment, preferably in hospitality or a related field.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Excellent grooming and personal presentation, adhering to Hyatt's high standards.
  • Unrestricted, valid Australian working rights.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
